Booking and Cancellation Policy
Your fishing trip must be booked with a VISA, MasterCard, Amex or pre-paid deposit. A deposit for each trip booked will be charged upon confirmation of the trip. A trip is not confirmed until your deposit is received.
Once confirmed, we will send you an email with all the needed details. You can call us with your confirming information (Visa/MC #, Expiration Date and Billing Zip Code). If you would prefer to email the info, please do. However, to assure security I would use several emails. You can send the first eight digits of your card number in the first email; the second eight digits in the second email; the expiration date and the zip code in the third. My wife Vickie and I are the only ones who have access to our emails and phone messages, so your info safe.
The balance should to be paid directly to your captain after the trip via Cash or Check. If you wish to leave the charges on your card, you are welcomed to so, but please let us know in advance.
Our business is based on referrals. Chokoloskee Charters wants you to fish with us so you will tell all your friends and associates what a wonderful trip you had. However, we realize that situations arise that require the cancellation and/or rescheduling of a booked trip.
Cancellation, by you, the angler, made prior to 21 days of the beginning of your booking. Your booking can be be rescheduled at your option without penalty. If you choose not to reschedule, your total deposit will be refunded less a $20 fee.
Cancellation, by you, within 21 days of your booking. You may reschedule your booking, but the first day’s charter fee will be charged. This charge will be credited upon completion of your rescheduled charter. If you choose not to reschedule, the deposits may be forfeited at the sole discretion of Chokoloskee Charters.
Cancellations by you within 10 days of your booking. You may reschedule your booking, but the you may be charged the total fees or you may forfeit the deposits at the sole discretion of Chokoloskee Charters.
Safety is of the utmost importance. Your captain has the responsibility for your safety and determines if a trip should be cancelled or delayed because of weather. Weather days will be rescheduled or refunded.
Prices are subject to change. Weekends and holidays may incur additional fees (Weekend/Holiday Policy). Tipping of your captain is customary and appreciated, but not expected.
